I saw Reconstruction in the winter of 79' in Denver. Great show, is there a recording of that show anywhere?
I was in the navy at the time, in port. Went to buy guitar strings across the street. Saw the sign with something small in the middle, turned out to be Jerry's name. Went in had a pitcher at the table in front of the stage and had jerry 6 feet away from me all night. may the 4 winds blow
am i right or wrong is it melvin seals that is over weight and touring w/ jgb?
Great set list, I saw reconstruction in '79 in Denver, what a show.
Merle is touring, Still as JGB is that man the absolute balls or what? I wish he would lose a few poundage so we can enjoy his presence and masterful performance for years to come. mad-dog
Phenominal, simply phenominal. Anyone know how Merle is these days????
smooth nectar for the soul...thank you kindly...
Holy S#@t!! So friggin' hot!!
Funky disco Dear Prudence was a nice suprise. Somewhat different from the version released on the '91 JGB double CD. Cool thanks!

Wow! My friends and I are jammin out to this!
Jerry and Merl OWN YOUR FACE!!!
just great tunes. jerry and merl are always a good duo
Rippin Show!!..For some reason I alway seem to think that Jerry rips more in his solo band then he did in The Dead..I mean the Dead Rocked everynight but Jerry shines brightly when he's on his own..Please!!! More JGB shows. 80's and up would be sweet..
